Amazon Simple Email Service, or Amazon SES, is a reliable, scalable, secure, and cost-effective, cloud-based email messaging platform designed for developers and marketers alike to send transactional “receipt type” emails or high-volume marketing and newsletter email campaigns. Amazon SES supports SMTP, SDK or API integrations and also requires no upfront contracts as you pay only for what is used.

Additionally, Amazon Simple Email Service provides email deliverability tools and reports allowing you to surface sender statistics. And, all of this comes with the reliability of a system that sends – a hard to imagine – trillion plus emails each year.
